Going the Extra Mile Offering
A long-standing tradition, our Going the Extra Mile Offering (formerly Second Mile Offering) recognizes that while giving our time and talent to help others is a good start, we must also go the “extra mile.” Monthly our Missions and Outreach team designates an organization that aligns with our mission to help the needy. Organizations we have partnered with include One Great Hour of Sharing, West Suffield Community Food Pantry, Heifer International, Revitalize CDC and the National Association for Mental Illness. Rise Against Hunger
Globally, Rise Against Hunger (RAH) strives to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies. It focuses on geographic regions where access to diverse and nutritious food is limited. Periodically, we gather to package dried meals for the cause. Learn more here.
Cathedral in the Night
Cathedral in the Night is an outdoor Christian community in downtown Northampton, MA. It seeks to create a safe place for all including the homeless and church-less. It welcomes them to gather for a meal, to empower one another and to engage in issues of social justice by fighting the causes of inequality and homelessness. Typically, once a quarter, we prepare, transport and serve a Sunday evening meal for them. Learn more here.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

Loaves and Fishes – Enfield, CT
Hunger has no season, race, age or religion. It is everywhere and affects many. It should come as no surprise that the number of people experiencing food insecurities has increased in the last few years.
We partner with Loaves & Fishes in Enfield to donate sandwiches every Thursday, yearlong! Learn more here or join a team today!

Church World Service is a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster.
