Christmas Eve Family Service
Our 5:00pm Christmas Eve Service is family- focused, allowing young and young-at-heart members, friends, and community to reflect and celebrate Christmas Eve together. Our service includes carols, a reading of the Christmas Story, special music, and more!
All are welcome!

This time of year, as the nights grow longer and the shadows grow deeper, we wait and watch and march for the one whose name is “Lamb of God”,” Prince of Peace”, Light of the World”. The one the prophets called “Wonderful Counselor”, “Bright Morning Star”, “Rose of Sharon”. The one everyone who was hungering for justice called “Advocate”, “Messiah”, and “Savior”. Join us this Advent as the shadows grow deeper and the light shines brighter, as we wait and watch and march for the ones the angels called, “Emmanuel”, whom God called “Beloved, and who Mary called Jesus.
First Church welcomes you to worship with us this season of Advent. Our Sunday morning worship services continue all month at 10:00am in our Sanctuary, and additional services for the holiday season occur throughout the month.

A Light Shines in the Darkness: A Service of Remembrance
For some people, the approaching Christmas holiday does not bring with it joy and happiness. Individuals and families may be facing the holidays after the death of a loved one or the loss of a job, divorce, or other losses we experience.
This ecumenical service is a collaborative service brought together in community hosted at First Church of Christ of Suffield CT. The service includes many of the same aspects of a regular Christmas service, but with a quieter tone, as well as a time of remembrance for those losses we have suffered.
All are welcome to attend in person, or through our livestream service.
